@jplacson Siemens pocket pc smartphone?it is called SX45.same size with a Casioppeia pda.sėmilar features with the sx1 wo camera. The sx1 can accomodate up to 512mb mmc while the 3650 is up to 128mb mmc only.Between the 2,il choose the sx1. I will wait till december until all of these temptations are available, tested and the prices quite have stabilized(siemens,SE,motorola).then il choose.Sorry,i dont go 4 nokia. As of the moment,im satisfied with the t68i because it serves my present needs.

This will be the replacement for my T68. Really hope it will also support SD memorycards. MMC probably will be discontinued, since it is slower then Sd and prices of SD went down a lot and are now similar to MMC(At least for the 128 Mb ones)

one question on controls through:

notice that there are no volume buttons at the side. how are you going to control volume while playing mp3?

multi-level menus? not very intuitive when you need to change volume on-the-fly.

my sl45 has side volume buttons that remain active with keypad lock on. IMHO, this is good design.

Think siemens overlooked this area.

Looks very nice but this is going to mean learning a whole new method of text input.

The keyboard layout looks great but i think will be a pain in the ar*e to use.

i can't wait for this one. i think this will be the one! the t68i i love now, but changing between mp3 player and camera and clipping them on and unclipping them can get annoying. also, its screen can be much better. but sx1 has it all! i'm even looking forward to the new keypad, it looks pretty efficient for 2-thumbed SMS. it'll also prolly make me not want to SMS while driving like i do, but we'll see about that! i would defienitely pay $400 euro for it. it looks so awesome! only thing i'm worried about is the battery, if it says 300 standby, then in real life it means i'll have to recharge it everyday. but it'll be worth it still!

Again il wait 4 d sx1 and the t610 to hit the shelves and test it personally before i decide to replace my t68i.I just hope the battery life of the sx1 would be that long since battery performance is not one of siemens strength(c35i,m50) unlike ericssons.

Eeeerrrkkkk! Horrid keypad layout!!!

Form factor and size aren't that bad. The curves that are missing in the T610 are here. But the keypad layout is really brain dead...

Numerics on the sides??? If so, why not utilise the screen size to be bigger (lower) instead of incorporating those "non" numeric pads below?

I dunno... don't quite like the design. Though feature wise, it has everything that I would desire...
