Today at 3GSM World Congress Siemens announced the SX1.
It remembers you the Nokia 7650 or 3650?

Hmmm, but perhaps it's much better, I think...

The SX1 will be available from June 2003

Size : 109 x 55 x 19 mm
Weight : 110 g

Flash demo

Siemens official press release

Size comparaison with T68i, Nokia 7650, 3650, P800

SX1 specifications list: http://www.club-siemens.com/mobiles/sx1.shtml

Now, what do you think of this new Symbian Smartphone?

The keys on the side look like they will be hard to use, or at least hard to get used to. Other than that it looks really cool, and the specs are awesome!

It has a very nice design. Looks like somekind of built-in-laser-with-attached-teleporter-from-star-wars-episode-XXI. Very, very, nice.

But those side buttons ?????
Will it be functional?

It's good to see that are going to be punished for delaying the P800 so much. And good to see another Symbian device to take the fight to Micro$oft

I think 500~600 euros without operator contract.

The price should be similar to a SL45i, because the SX1 replaces it.

Yea the SX1 will be cheaper than the P800 because it's more a competitor of the Nokia 3650. And it's a phone for the mass market. P800 targets professional market.
