This new Siemens phone looks to be probably the most complete non-3G phone yet announced.
The most enticing thing for me however is the relatively compact size and weight for a smartphone; far more features than the bulky 7650, and don't even talk about the behemoth that is the 3650. |

What cpu does it have? How much RAM? I would seriously miss a touchscreen. It doesnt have any features that the p800 doesn't have. As far as I've seen.

How are we supposed to type with that? It's very disorienting!!! It's bad enough that the 3650 has that mutant 18th century rotary dial style pad... but this is just inefficient!
But then, I guess this isn't supposed to be an efficient text input device. It does look funky.
I imagine that Siemens is trying to push for photo/video messaging over regular text messaging since this clearly has no efficient text input method.
I'd get this over a 3650/7650 though. It looks a lot better... weird... in a good way though.
Isn't Siemens supposed to release a PocketPC based smartphone as well? |

now this is what i've been waiting for. this will be one of the new devices on top of my list and the p800 goes down to last. i will wait for more of these to come out this year then take my pick from one of them but not the p800 anymore for it will be out gunned by the new comers. i can text faster for i can use two hands to press the keypads. |

It certainly does look good! This'll be a serious 3650 competitor..

This phone looks great I think I will wait a little longer now instead of buying a P800 and either get this or maybe the T610.

for me this will definitely be my choice over the p800. it's features are clearly far more better than the p800 for me. i emailed siemens of usa and they told me that the phone will not be released here in north america. total bummer!
then again, the dumbass customer service guy could be wrong i hope.

It is smaller and lighter than P800.
64k screen.
No Thouchscreen though...
Looks real nice. I am looking forward to this phone, I`ve had very good experiences whit those Siemens mobiles that I`ve had. SL45 and ME45. Got a C45 as backup phone now.
But I have some doubts on the sidebuttons...
