It just depends on how you use your phone.. if you in fact use it as a phone, this is no where near the right size If you mostly browse the web and play games.. then its perfect.

I still think that the best combo is a 808/iPhone 5s + a Win8pro hybrid 2in1 with enabled hotspot on either of the phones. There is just no way to converge this into one simply because of the physical size limitations.

I think the majority of people the image quality on iPhone 5s is good enough so the extra bulk brought by the size sensor might not the combo less than ideal for many. Also a 4 inches screen while perfect for some is definitely not perfect for others

Anyway I agree that the 1520 size is not for everyone. Still waiting to try one here in UK. ..doesn't seem to be in stock anywhere in London atm

GSMarena.. spot on

http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_lumia_1520-review-1024p8.php

"Nokia went with color reproduction that is as accurate as possible on the 808 PureView, but then upped the saturation for the Lumia 1020. Having faced lots of negative feedback the Finns decided to revert to their original strategy with the Lumia Black update. And since Lumia 1520 comes with Lumia Black out of the box we were hoping that natural is what we'll get.

As it turned the resolved colors are indeed more natural and closer to the 808 PureView phone, although we did get the occasional off white balance. Luckily, with a viewfinder this big, you can easily see when the automatic white balance is failing and intervene via one of the virtual rings."

Its not the same camera.. the 1520 has less to deal with.

But yes, the Snap 800 is way better for the job either way.

Great device I would love one as I do love phablets nowadays Although looking at the GSM Arena images they are still a touch blurry here & there but an improvement. A score of 12 hours browsing is a plus for me as I browse alot

I think that this is the best device from Nokia since the 808/N9 combo came out almost two years ago.
