any Idea about the identity of the lead designer for PS4? I guess he also designed the PS2 slim back then

They brought him on stage after the design reveal but he never spoke a word. I dont remember his name but you can see it in the replay..

Tetsu Sumii. He was also one of the product designers responsible for, among other things, the α380/330/230, the Cyber-shot DSC-T700/T77, the Extension Line by Vaio and, how could it be otherwise  , the Xperia Z/Xperia Tablet Z.

I think and believe it's him. I haven't seen any rumours or confirmations in the WWW yet. But if you rewatch it with him in mind, then it's quite clear that he is our man . Also, if the pictures of the people involved in the Xperia Z/Xperia Tablet Z article are in order, then he was the second most important one after Suzuki, who only was responsible for Xperias until now, or the most important one, if work in other areas of Sony is a must  .

The DualShock 4 design looked out of place, they could've made top edges more angular while maintaining good ergonomics 
oh and PS4 design also reminds me of IBM blue gene supercomputer
