so if the xperia v is hitting Sweden on the 28th November then hopefully Asia get it first! Just like the ion hit Asia first, getting mine on import!!!

I won't be getting any overhyped overpriced iphone 5 seriously what a waste, id rather buy 100 cheap Nokias with change to spare than buy that piece of shit!!! why I hate Apple? Is the fact they think they can boss the market, create false ways of doing things ( the Apple way) not the proper way!

At least in Sweden the prices that have popped up are around 440 pound (552 EUR).

All the advertising, marketing, and hype in the World... will not help the sales of a product that is not available.

Apple gets that right every time...

Hype...

Launch...

Next day (or if they're late 1 week) ready to ship, Buy NOW!

-----------------------------

Everyone else...

Hype...

Everyone wants one...

Launch...

Release sate 3 months if you're lucky... usually 6 months...

A year later... MAYBE available in your region...

Now available... no more interest.
-------------------------------

I think Sony started off on the right foot with the Xperia Tablet, it was a week before it was available in the UK and US. They should really do that with their phones. Even if it's in small batches if they're afraid it won't sell.

Totally agree, sony nailed it by releasing the xperia tablet so soon after announcement. if only they did this with their phones as well, could really sell many more phones. I cant wait for the xperia v and will buy it as soon as its released, but it sickens me that apple people can get the iphone 5 one week after announcement. Seriously, iphone 5 has got nothing new and is nowhere near the game changer that everyone was hyped up about. This is prob the downfall of apple starting now...hopefully people will release that samsung arent the best out there either with their crappy software and horrible manufacturing. I honestly dont understand why people buy the sgs3...

Because people will buy a phone that is available when they need one.

Again... if I need a phone NOW or within the next 3 months... I doubt the Xperia V would make it to my shopping list.

As is, I'm already about to just get an Xperia P instead since I've played with it enough and I love the aluminum body and smaller screen. (Still crossing fingers for an Xperia SX release, but not holding my breath)

The s3 is a great phone but I'm selling mine. A couple of reasons, the biggest one that the phone just doesn't feel right in the hand, its too big. I can't use it one handed. A second issue, it is soooooo fragile and I'm one of those who hate to use a phone. A phone should be durable enough to drop 30 centimetres and not shatter the glass on the front. Yes, it happened to me after having the S3 one week and it was brought outright not on contract. Thank heavens for phone insurance! Third issue, this sounds a little trivial but it an annoyance. The speaker is placed on the back of the phone, so when watching videos without a headset, it can be hard to understand speech as its projected away from you.

I came from the Arc s and I dropped that phone so many times and it survived with minimal damage. I'm going to purcahse the Xperia V or the T. i will decide when hold both, I just suspect the T will be a little too big for me, like the s3.

It seems to me almost as if Sony is testing all it's software on the V in readiness for the full Sony Mobiles we'll see next year. The V has more Sony features in it than any other Xperia. I really can't wait for it to launch.

No. 3G will always work where there is no 4G. Most higher end phones are quad band 3G so work nearly everywhere.
