So guys, what's your fav Sony Ericsson/Sony phone. The one that is closest to your heart
Mine would have to be a tie between Xperia S and Sony Ericsson W580i

I have a few actually, the T68 was my first colour screen phone and I really enjoyed owning one. Then I got myself a P800 as soon as it came out, it blew everything away at that time and I kept that for ages mainly because Symbian allowed me to customise it and put all sorts of software on it. I then went through a number of cheaper phones but I stuck with a brown K770. Really well built and attractive device, love the lens cover and blue LEDs on it.

Unfortunately I broke it but it was quickly replaced with a silver X1. I replaced that with a black one because the silver one was so slow but it turns out that all X1s are crap. I got it purely for its design, it looks amazing today and at that time you just couldn't get anything nicer than it. I kept it for a while but eventually I broke it through frustration. I got myself a red G900 which I really liked, the design and also going back to UIQ but I got tired of its lack of speed.

I moved away from but now I have a silver Xperia P. Its very pretty, its body and its proportions make it look better than the Xperia S. Its exclusive as well, stands out in an iPhone filled city. It runs beautifully as well and there is always some aspect that someone will be really impressed with i.e. the screen or the camera etc. This is by far my best phone and I intend to keep it for a while, I'm not the type of person who would update for a bit of extra speed or extra cores. I would say its the best all rounder and for a mid range phone, it mixes with most of the high enders.

W800, W900, P990 and X10 are my favourites.

W800 -The 1st Walkman phone, probably the best feature phone in its time, awesome camera, great buil, nice size and a great UI with what was the best music player.

W900 -A rare gem, its life got cut short, i was fortunate enough to have one. One of the 1st phones to bring hardware graphics/video acceleration to mobiles with its NVidia GPU, and that weird swivel form factor.

P990 -To me, this was the ultimate SE P-series smartphone in its time, even with its issues, i just liked its design and presence, and UIQ was a good Symbian UI, a shame SE didnt go further with it.

Xperia X10 -IMO, the last true high-end SE/Sony. They took a big risk, fitting what was at the time a gigantic 4.0inch 854x480 display, bringing in a whole new design and image to the company, as well as their very 1st venture into Android.

I like all 4 equally, and owned 3 of them, the P990 being the exception.

K800, K850 & W995.
The K800 was such a great phone, great camera...
The K850, loved the form factor and i was fortunate enough not to experience any BROD during the time i used it
Still using the w995, does everything i need it to do, a great music player, and the UI is just that quick.
when you see someone with a tatoo, ask him what's his focus.

T610 did it for me. As much as I enjoyed the P-series, there was something special about that phone, and its now wonder it won the GSMA Phone of the year accolade. Even today OEMs are copying elements of the T610 design. Case in point the volume buttons on the iPhone 4/4S and those on the T610!
If it is to be it is up to me!

Brilliant little phone that! I, however, don't look at it as a Sony Ericsson, that was just Ericsson's brilliance. Even though it had a Sony Ericsson badge slapped on it it doesn't qualify to be one IMO.

I liked my T610 a lot but then I also love my P910i and my P1i.

The T650i was another gem, I also thought the K850i was something of a design coup even with its issues. The P990i was another phone I loved despite the software problems.

If I were to pick my favourite, then it would definitely be the P1i. I have had this phone for over 4 years and I can't let go.

I have tried other phones, including an Android (Moto's Droid Razr) but I just can't find something that the P1i has. It, to me at least, was the last truly great SE smartphone. I am pretty sure, though, that its replacement is around the corner in the form of a Blackberry 'Bold' running BB10 around the first quarter of next year.

@badassman,

You my dear friend made A GRAVE mistake!
Stating the "T68" was your favourite SonyEricsson/Sony phone is a half-assed answer for a true fan such as we!
I'll state why in a moment.

To the OP and mods, please amend the thread title to include Ericsson please!
The Ericsson T68m was an Ericsson phone, a brief & limited release with unique colours. The T68i which is more common was released after unification was accepted and official: not unlike the transition of their separation recently with Xperia S still having the SE logo.

My all time favorite phone of ALL: The Ericsson T39m (because I couldn't import the T36m)! This phone with its slim design got me lots of girls including my 17yr relationship with my recent ex, and kept us together with long 6hr calls while working my ass off. I wonder if the quality of the phone and call longevity was more than my ex could amount to lol. All in all she's a great mother- horrible girlfriend.

Oops almost forgot
K750, Z500, Z520, and the ultimate feature phone the W810!

With Sony Eric my relationship started with k750i, after 2 years it was grand k800i which i modded, flashed and patched. K800i was an iconic phone i'll say just like k750. Currently holding Sony 'Live with Walkman' and Cedar
