Guys, I got it solved. Now on 4.0.4 and loving it.

Problem was the kernel used in rooting. I left out rooting as there might not be a suitable kernel as yet for this new update. If anyone knows of one please let me know.

Thanks. Peace.

Glad to hear you were able to solve it skblakee!!

I really cant fault 4.0.4, the battery life and UI fluidity is incredible, im just so satisfied with my GS2 right now.

I haven't notice any difference with the battery. Maybe it has improved but the speed and fluidity is great.Image JB update. I have also bought an extended battery kit which should be arriving on Monday so I won't worry about the battery much anyway.

I can't think of anything on any phone that is not on mine SGS2 I would want.

How do I get a signature on SGS2 attached to my facebook account? I am seeing it on some peoples phone but haven't figured out how to do it on mine.

Thansks

So sick of constantly updating the RR JB rom that Ive installed the UnitedKingdom/Ireland 4.0.4 Samsung rom from Sammobile.Just rooted using CF-Root and ready to enjoy Touchwiz again until someone brings out a finished JB,be it Samsung or RR.

skblakee
Do you still need root.I'll send you a link if you do.

Compared to RR JellyBean this Sammie 4.0.4 is kinda like a fatty.Hope I can get used to it.

No changes made whatsoever. I have never made those kind of changes. I don't even know why I should so I just leave those alone.
