Clearly its not a very good picture and the person that took it didnt do a good job at holding the phone still. It does not really illustrate anything.

i wonder how bad the person was to manage to make a blurry photo in a situation with plenty of light...he must be the worst photographer ever.

But the question was, Is the person really a photographer? Or just someone that do a point and shoot and dont know much a photography, as we can see the N8 images was so very nice that it makes the photographer or a person looks a pro in photography even they are not, then if someone saw something bad in the images he/she will 1st think about the camera's fault without considering what kind of person who made the shot, because of the good quality of the phone other people that saw some N8's images the 1st thing that came up with their minds was "its taken but a good photographer " then they'll judge the camera if they saw something.

Ofcourse - look in EXIF

Again.. no, i really cannot be bothered with you, if you have a point say it as im not chasing round looking for your meaning.

@ ares - ive no idea, but generally ive noticed from when i had my N8 it was easy to allow light to ruin parts of the picture due to the wider angle lens of the N8. My first shots with the phone suffered from the issue. I think much of it is user error. You either get lens flare, or the sky burning out or blurring due to the higher brightness.

Something i believe a HDR app would eradicate.

Ask Carl Zeiss man I don't understand how this world manifacturer can make such a bad optics , but is fact

First of all, Carl Zeiss is dead for mor than a 100 years now.
So it's all up to you Sassho to solve this mystery for us!

Anyway, look, two N8's shooting the similar scenes one with blurs and the other without, as well as teh same N8 shooting some scenes with blurs and others without, can't be related to a lens defect!

Specially that those blurs are coming on different spots..

So again, scratch you head a little and think a little more.. You could figure it out..

Then I tried the camera with the flash on and I was appalled by the results. The pictures were not just washed out and with very uneven lighting, they were completely unusable as pictures. I went back to no flash and everything was well. I finally decided that the flash was bad and that I would have to send the phone back.

TED, about you getting bad quality with the flash. I had a few images like this... white shadow over the image, washed out - then i has some perfect pics. Couldnt understand why.

Found out the reason - and you can easily test it yourself. Its yours left index finder extending over the top of the cameras flash. If you grip the phone and your inderx finger goes over the edge, you get the washed out imagine, pull your finger back and grip the phone with on your finger tip - and your back to razor shark images.

The light from the flash reflects off your finger back into the lens giving you the washed out images.

Some photo taken by n8 blur is because the camera got finger print or dirty. Kindly wipe it clean before take a shot. I have try it already.. it become obvious when using flash.

But because of the n8 camera design.. silver surround the camera cause glare effect when there is strong light source in front the camera.
