Right, I reinstalled the firmware and I'm (fingers crossed) pleased to say that everything is as it should be. I think the restore of my backed up apps/data messed the whole thing up. I went to the Market and downloaded what I had before and its all running fine 
Happy days, here's to the next firmware update...

@juris15 okey, did som quick reading about that a few days ago, you will need to have the phone connected to you pc for screen capturing?

You dont need to know anyone because it´s very easy. I just bought a T-mobile simcard from UK and put it in my phone. Logged in one time and then i can buy apps. Payment you do through Google checkout so you have to activate an account there. You also have to use a wifi connection because you never activate the simcard.
You can buy a simcard here in sweden from lets say droidstuff.se for 79 Skr
