There's a way to know of which country my phone is?

Because i keep daily checking the SEUS software and it keeps saying that my phone is updated, but i have the firmware 014.

I live in Brazil and buy't from internet... he came with the leather pouch, so i suspect that it came from taiwan.

My X10i battery is almost unusable... EVERY day i have to charge the phone... i really want the 016 firmware hopping that this issue got resolved...

Try this.
In standby screen when the screen is locked, press this button:
Menu, Back, Back, Menu, Back, Menu, Menu, Back
You will be directed to the Service Menu.
Go to Service Info, then Model Info.
You will find the country of your X10 there.

Thanks dude... it works!

Look the screen...

It's from Singapore... but i had one doubt...

My phone is SIM free, supposed to be unbranded... but why in the Brand field it's showing Customized?? Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Guys,

I updated my de-branded firmware to Nordic Generic X10i Firmware (R1FB001), went through ok, when I restarted my phone and had the setup wizard I noticed that United Kingdom (English) was halfway down the screen, but carried on regardless. Once set up, checked I had the baseband .21, but when I tried to install/find any paid apps in the market. (smart keyboard pro) that I had previous it couldn't find them. I had backed up all my data and apps with mybackup, and restored when I restarted the phone after update, and I went through fine. Has that something to do with it?

I've since reverted back to BB .16 without a hitch.

Has anyone else had a problem installing the latest firmware?

Cheers

@ ukmacca84.

I am running R1FB001 on my handset and i have no problems finding software on the Android Market place. I have just done a search for Smart Keyboard Pro and it comes up.

No problems here.

Hmm maybe it was something to with the restore then, Ill try installing firmware again and checking out the market straight away before I do anything.

The CDA/CDF for the verison i am running is 1227 - 4612. If its of any help?

Maybe it is a good idea to include the CDA/CFA information with the firmware.

Okey seems we will have to wait for x10 to get rooted if that ever will happen. but there are some ways around to get the apps if you know the right people

what screencapture app are you using?
