Kerry goto Nokia website & goto software section then you should see something saying CAN I UPDATE? Then take off your back cover & type in the product code & it will tell you the latest version Product code is under battery on sticker in digits

Aleay done all that Sean,
no avail

I re-installed the firmware but the phone is still in a mind of it's own,
it really needs that Version 20 update but Vodafone wont release it,

Im thinking about testing them to see how far they'd go lol
they might allow me another phone it's there fault of there own anyway!

Go for it Well you did it before with a little pushing from myself but I would try. This time it could go either way. They will say yes cos you have had so many problems they will let you have something else. Or they will just say repair

Ive had my X6 product code changed and now have V21 Firmware theres quite alot of changes btw V12 and V21 What I Dislike is that the Web is always on full mode if change it back to normal it goes back to it again! Phone is still abit slow at booting up and noticed it wasnt v.touchative at first seems better now with V21 rather then V20

Ive never had a problem with OTA updates with my N86.... most recently v30.009 about a month or two ago. Its pretty quick too, only about 10min for download and install. [addsig]
