Well i have used x10 for about 10 min. and i just bought htc desire. I must say that i am totally satisfied with desire. While x10 was a great phone, the screen was responsive, but during messaging it was really frustrating. However with desire, i started typing n w/e mistakes i made, it would auto correct them. N even tho i havent used it much, i can type quite fast.

In x10 when you press and hold on the homescren to get that widget option, it used to have a slight lag there, but its not there on desire.

Also the volume of desire is pretty loud, while x10's quite low, which isnt of a big deal to me.

x10's mediascape is pretty nice while timescape, was quick and ok.

x10 is a device if your going to use mainly for multimedia and htc seems to give me better overall experience.

There are little things in desire such as when you flip the phone the ringer gets silent, and when you pick you your phone(not as in answering) the ringer volume automatically goes down.

Desire's camera kinda sux tho. But its got multi touch as well.

They have said tht x10 will be getting 1 big update and several other updates, and i have a feeling that the big update would be 2.1 and that would be the final version for it.

Yes it must be I suppose. I was able to use free Yahoo mail on my old K850i and C905 too.

In a browser or using Yahoo GO 3.0? I don't think you could have used the native client without paying, but anything is possible.

No it was with the native client and it was free. For some reason I have always been able to.

I have learned that if you have a Yahoo! Asia Email account you can get POP and Imap for free but it only works over carrier lines and won't work over WiFi.

Haven't tried the X10 but got a Desire last week and its fantastic!

Was a fan of Sense as I had a Hero but the improvements in this version coupled with the Snapdragon just take it to a different level.

If you're looking at the N1 and X10 I would definitely say the Desire needs to be added to choices list...
