have a look here....
make sure you have the latest a2uploader and attach your data cable directly to the pc usb port (do not use a usb hub) and check that your data cable, pc usb port and fastport are working

The most strange thing about all this is that i can connect with PC Suite but not with A2 uploader, and both connect in the same way..

you need to make sure you press file system button, charge the phone, clean fastport, try another usb port for your cable, install USB drivers, it will say something on the left hand side of A2 uploader about whats happening with connecting

I've done all that.
I have downloaded all the programs that you say are needed:
a2Uploader
ggsetup-2.2.0.5
new driverutines for the phone and the usb:s

I installed:
Gordon's gate
DPInst in the programfolder for Gordon's gate

and when i connect the phone i get this message and nothing is happening on a2Uploader:

A Usb-unit isn't recognised
One of the Usb-units connected to the computer
works incorrectly and can't be recognised.

Check your fastport connector. It's maybe dirt or check your usb cable pins.

I checked the cables and such for dirt, nothing but I get a pop-up window which showes the Usb-port and it's says that fastports are with Bold style, there's no bold style anywhere. The computer is a 6 month old Fujitsu Siemens Amilo but it seems to me that I don't have any fastport, really? Or can I install fastports somehow?
But it works with PC Suite and you conect the phone in the same way there.
