Does the 3.5mm jack on the W995 support a microphone on the headset? |

Hi all, as in the title, I'd like to know if the 3.5mm jack on the W995 support the microphone on headsets as well. Are iPhone headsets supported on it? Or any headset with a 3.5mm jack and built-in microphone, such as the metro.fi 100v. Thanks! |

yes it supports handsfree functionalities. you can use nokia handsfrees but doen.t supports play pause funtions. and see here i created a tutorial to make it by ur own see here

Thanks for the clarification, I guess I can go ahead and buy the pair of Ultimate Ears Metro.Fi 100v I had my eyes on. I hope they sound as good as the reviews claim.

That's not a bad idea, and the thought did cross my mind, but I haven't seen that being sold anywhere here. I might just look for some OEM adapter.

If you go to SE website you could see the xperia headset in supported accessory section. And that also good in quality.and you could get it in ebay. Or why don't you try make one?

I bought an adapter meant for the iPhone and the sound comes out wrong. I thought it would work without any problems, but I guess I was wrong. Another reason for me to get an iPhone, I suppose?
