k850's screen goes black |

hey, i have got this problem that my k850's screen goes black when i press any key of keypad (not softkeys) and then if i leave it for like 10secs, and then press any key , i can see the screen again. Even if i press the keypad area same thing happens. I read some posts on esato regarding it and also found this link

do you think this solution would work ? or should i simply go n get my lcd replaced ?

hi pal,
me too got this same problem 2 months ago...
took the phone to service center, they said for sure that its LCD was damaged... but
their charge was way too high for me...
So called my friend abroad and asked him to send one for me.. replaced it myself...(and also the housing)
Now it perfectly alright...
just like a brand new phone...

i read ur post before posting a new thread ... and well i got my LCD replaced today.. the technician was a butcher let me tell u =\\

OK fine,
happy to hear that ur LCD was fixed...
but u could have done it by yourself.. if it was out of warranty..
anyway its fine now right..

yeah...i could've done it myself...actually i wanted to make sure whether the new LCD is of gud quality or not...so i went to the shop and had him fix it .. |
