hi
i just debranded my c905 from orange as i hate the layout they give you, it all seemed to go ok until i turned to phone on after using SEUS
the debranding has been sucessful however i get the cannot recieve incoming calls icon at the top of the screen now and sometimes even just straight up inactiuve sim
its not the sim as ive used varius different ones in it as a test and mine works in my old phone
when i started the phone up again after using SEUS it did the whole setup thing and it asked me what network i would like to use uie to download the settings so i selected O2 as i am using an o2 sim..the settings download failed and said try again from the settings menu, when i try this it does not work either
i was wondering if anyone could help me out with my problem as its kinda annoying not being able to use the phone as you can imagine
(the phone is unblocked as i used my o2 sim in it before the debranding)
cheers, wes |

Try to use SEUS again and reflash your phone again. Maybe something goes wrong during last flashing.

Which software did you debrand it with?

Certainly sounds like a bad install or a problem with the sim reader

You could go onto the 02 website and have the settings send to your phone. Worth a try.

After reading your post again and you mentioning that you get an inactive sim prompt as well as the call barring icon. That would mean that the phone has been network blocked. Try another reflash via seus first and see what happens. If possible. Post a picture of your phones screen so we can see what symbols are showing.

i tried re-flashing it again, no joy on that front
to de-brand it i followed the steps on this thread about 3 posts down
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=178734
it seemed to work fine for everyone else so dont know why its done this for me
i tried to get settings sent from the o2 website but it seems i cant recieve text either, i think it's the GSM settings it needs which explains why i cannot recieve them by text. (im not even sure if you can get these sent off the o2 website but i tried to get grps/mms settings sent)
i followed steps on the o2 website to manually enter GPRS/MMS settings to see if it made a difference and after doing this i can use the internet function (connecting through O2) just fine but still no GSM features.
the icon that is showing at the top of this screen is this one which means 'cannot recieve incoming calls' apparently.
the phone sometimes reads 'Inactive SIM' and sometimes it's 'O2-UK' regardless of which is being displayed on screen the symbol still remains in the status bar and i cannot make or recieve calls/texts
any help with this would be greatly appreciated as it's annoying having this phone just sat about doing nothing |
