heya, i know how to update the firmware for a c905, but what i am having troubles with is finding the australian firmware, when everyone i find is western-europe.

the firmware that is on my phone now is

R1DA032
prg1205-9079_GENERIC_SI
R1DA032

CUSTOM
1214-7311 R12A
1205-9083 R1DA032
WESTERN-EUROPE

yesterday afternoon i went to the local phone store and asked if i could get some details from a se c905 vodafone australian stock, and these are the details i got

R1BA038
prg1208_0447_VODAFONE_SI
R1BA038

CUSTOMISTION
1213-6364 R9A
1205-9083 R1BA038
VFE-LIVE-A

now i dont know if what i am going to say is going against what i said a min ago, but i would like the lastest australian firmware, but with the vodafone australia branding (Customization pack),

and can anyone help with my earpiece speaker? it is very low and i am looking for a replacement part, but i have found out about this "Acoustics Modding" wft? and can someone help me with finding it for the c905.

also one last thing, i have 2 c905 (controlled/not for public) manuals how can i share them with you guys?

thanks

hi

all i could find was a non branded fs for you. why would you want to keep your phone voda branded?

regarding the low sound: Acoustics Modding Thread - DB3150 and later

heya,

it doesnt have to be the vodafone firmware, just the generic firmware with a vodafone customization pack?

i like vodafone, i have had a k850i with voda branding, and a sharp gx25 with voda branding.

does anyone know the reason why the generic is better than the voda version?

Branded firmwares usually disable some features.

it could work.

go to 4shared.com and search for a generic main and apac-anz fs. then look for the voda custompack.
