1. Configure the phone so it makes your computer's network workgroup.

Go to Settings - Connectivity - Network Sharing
Write 'MSHOME' in the workgroup. (MSHOME is the default workgroup in Windows, unless you changed it)

2. Configure the phone so it uses the USB LAN for internet

Go to Settings - Connectivity - USB - USB Network - USB Network Type
Select 'Via Computer'

You're done!

Now connect the USB cable.
Select 'Phone Mode'
Wait a few seconds until computer finishes network adaptor installation.

I hope this helps.

You get that message when the phone tries to use the GPRS/3G network. There is a sort of bug in the A2 phone (or at least in W910 R1FA035) which would make the phomne stop using the USB Network but GPRS/3G instead (happens more often when you are using Internet in Java applications such as Opera Mini)

Disconnect the cable, wait a few seconds and plug cable again.

Launch the internal web-browser and try to access your homepage.

If it connects to GPRS/3G again means that you didn't configure USB Network properly.

P.S. You must configure your pc's firewall to allow communication between your phone, pc and Internet.

Oh I'm sorry. I know why you got that message I forgot something (enable local connection)

Settings - Connectivity - Internet Settings - Allow Local Conn.
Set 'On'

Launch the internal browser and go to:
Option - Advanced - Connectivity - Allow Local Conn.
Set 'On'

I'm sure it will work now.

P.S. Don't forget to configure pc's firewall as well.

It won't work with Vista easily... But with XP it works flawlessly. [addsig]

Another thing I forgot. Sorry.

You have to make Windows share your internet connection with other devices.

Control Panel - Network Connections

For Dial-up/ADSL
-Right-click your Dial-Up Connection and select Properties
-In Advanced tab
tick 'Allow other network users to connect...'
select your 'Phone net work adaptor' from the list'.
tick 'Allow other network users to control or share...'

If you have a gateway (router) instead of Modem (Dialup/ADSL).
You have to configure your phone to use the Gateway Address as Proxy.
I'm sorry I forgot what to modify.
