I have an A200 based phone, the V640i (k630i based).
I got all the software, firmware and hardware I need to debrand any of my SE phones but the one thing I don't have is a working usb network setup.

I'm trying to use internet on my phone via computer, and all the info I read on the forum about using SEUS is for setting up internet via phone. I was however able to use some of the sparse info on setting up a via computer usb network connection.

The ip of the usb connection was set to 192.168.0.1, which interferes with my wireless cards connection (default gateway 192.168.0.1). Yet when I shift the IP to something else like 192.168.0.10 it does nothing. I set my wireless connection to share with local connection 3 (had to disable the wireless card at the time for the trick to work properly).
Yet even though the connection is shared I still cant get a connection to the internet on my phone, it spews out the same error everytime. That error is "Communication failure. Try again or contact your operator for support"

Heres my setup.
Router IP is 192.168.0.1
Wireless card is set as IP 192.168.0.2 (reserved address by router)
USB connection is set as 192.168.0.10

Wireless connection is shared to the USB connection, with webserver enabled. When I first set up the share, USB was set as IP of 192.168.0.1 but this stops the wireless from working. It makes the wireless card think the USB cable is the default gateway and kills off the internet connection.

Can I get some help here please? I'd like to get this working, as it will drop all unnecessary costs (pay as you go customer). I've been trying to solve this problem for 6 months in windows. I could have it sorted in Linux but the kernel needs patching to support bridging, which I can't do without buying a brand new eeepc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think that the configuration is ok.

Router: 192.168.0.1
Gateway: same as router
Wireless card: 192.168.0.2
USB: 192.168.0.10
