C905 Debranding Questions |

Hey all,
In a couple of days, I will be getting my new C905 from Vodafone, due to the fact that I have a Vodafone contract. Thing is, I wish to debrand my C905, so that it won't have any longer that crappy menu and icons..
I searched in many forums, this 1 included too, but I didn't manage to get what I have to do..
Let me get this straight then.. I don't want to pay any money to the "Davinci Team".. But I read that I won't be able to debrand it myself, cause I have to find some firmwares etc. etc..
So could someone tell me if I can debrand it alone, at home, and this means for free? Could you also tell me what those firmwares are, and where I can get them? If it does matter, I am from Greece.
P.S: If there are any "how to" links, please post them to help me.
Thanks,
Steven. |

Last question, the whole procedure is 100% safe? I mean could my phone break down or something? |

the tutorial is very easy to follow. make sure that the firmeare files are mbn for the MAIN and fbn for the FS. you will find some rar files at 4shared too so if you download them, make sure they are the bigger ones. the others wont work with this tool.
