I am thinking of getting a g700 in mineral grey, but I am guessing it will have chinese firmware. I have looked on da vinci and there is no uk firmware for this phone, there is world firmware, but not sure what I will end up with?

Only reason I ask is that I had a w890i which came from china before and it had chinese games and text imput that I got rid of with a UK firmware update.

Anyone have a g700 and what firmware are you using?

Use Generic World1 it has uk eng and is the first to be updated.

Can you tell me how do I install that?
I've seen http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=174697 but not sure how to do this and if that is what you mean.
Any help on that will be appreciated...

I assume its the same for the G700 except that you have to change the last part of the CDA value to 1204-3125.

Then update with SEUS and your phone will be debranded.
