lets turn everything to the opposite way...what do you see when you look at c905 thread ???? its obivious c905 suffers of unstable software...
get real and swallow the fact....

both this pictures is shoot with macro (exactley same settings)...its obivious thats something who make c905 unsharp...

The firmware on the C905 you used is old. There is a newer firmware out now.

Planks c902 is always better... Plank compare his c902 with dslr, and c902 is better.

Plank believes the old firmware is better (which it may be, I don't know), I have the latest firmware on my c902 so if the pics suck I know it will be because I was using the wrong firmware

Unstable? What's unstable about this phone? It's the most rock steady A200 phone yet.
It's problem is simply to much noise reduction applied because of the tiny sensor being used. If that was tuned down a bit, it would be fine. That hardly classes as unstable does it?
If I use photoshop on my pics and sharpen them, you can see the potential is there.
And this whole thing about comparing with the sharpness of the C902 is getting silly. The C902 sharpens far too much, and leaves loads of noise. It is by no means the benchmark others should be compared to. As it stands now, I'd much prefer slightly softer pics and the almost zero noise I get from the C905.

you right...tomorow i declare that my c902 produce MUCH better pics then my girlfriend 80mm Hasselblad 503....hhmm

ps...i havnt said one thing that c905 is crap. i know its pontential...lets hope everything goes well............

--------------------------------------------------------------------

edit...feels kind of silly to speak about cameras (regarding cellphones)...cellphones have "no" camera, its just some cheap lens with some cheap, tiny sensor...this is a camera...over & out;

Thanks Plankgatan for your efforts; ignore the cynicism from the self appointed experts.

I don't mind the slightly lesser sharpness in the C905 photos, I'm happy trade that for a reduction of the noise which I'm surprised is still present in the C902 pics.

slightly less sharpness ???? well, thats even more silly then my own post....

its not just bad sharpness. if you look at many pics they quite often suffers of bleached colors (bad white balance), etc....

i think it just was the first firmware who had quite weak quality...then R3BH002 came and everything got f####ng great (with other words )

remember Pitzons first R3BH002 pics by his c902 ?? http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=171299&start=75

i remember i didnt believe it was "real" colors...but they was true.....
