Phonebook Converter app- Importing contacts from Nokia phone |

I have just bought a T68i after having a 6210 and wanted to copy all of my contacts in the phone without sending each one individually by IR. After playing with the software for both phones I noticed they don't have a common format for exporting/importing phonebooks.
To counter this, I wrote a quick program which converts the file exported by Nokia Content Copier into a file that can be imported by PBTM. I have made the program freely available on my web site.
Just in case anyone else is in the same situation!

I am in the same situation.
I need to import my contacts from my Nokia 7210 to my T68i. I used logomanager to save the conntacts in CSV format and imported the file in MS Outlook. Then uploaded the contacts into my T68i using the XTND software found on the cd which comes with the phone. But i noticed all my contacts were limited to 15 characters.
Anyone knows what's wrong? |

I didn't bother using XTNDConnect as I am having problems with it at the moment. If you want to use my program to convert the csv file to a .txt file you can then use PBTM to import this to your phone.

ok thanks! By the way what is PBTM?
And where can I download it?
When I try to convert the file I get "Please enter a valid path for the input file" although the path is correct. Can you help? |

PBTM is the Phone Book & Text Message Manager software that is part of most of the SE packages (see this sticky thread for details - it is part of Package 2 and 4.
Sorry about the problem with it saying invalid path - when I wrote the program it didn't have any checks or anything in it - I just added them before posting it on my web site and didn't test it properly . Download it again and you shouldn't have a problem.
contaygious, I am not sure about this combination of phones. If Nokia Content Copier runs for your Nokia then this might be possible. I also don't know what the software for the P800 is like.
