Arnold > Very useful info

The T68i comes with a cd-rom. Here you have the modem-drivers and the XTND-connect as well.

I havent checked it out yet,..but will have a look at what version of XTND-connect thats supplied on the cd-rom.

The software on the CD is not as current as the one on the Internet. If you use it to connect to your PC, use the latest version at Sony Ericsson instead of the one on the CD.

Just one thing. Haven't been able to use the downloads with Win-XP. Changed to Win-2000 Pro (have both installed) and they works fine.

I just installed R3APackage1 on my Toshiba Tecra running Windows XP Professional and Microsoft Outlook 2002. Everything works alright so far, as my first and consecutive synchronizations were completed without errors. TheT68m is connected to my notebook via DRS-10 serial cable.

MyPicturesR2E also works with the Mobile Phone Monitor bundled with R3APackage1, as expected.

I removed the old Ericsson Communications Suite and XTND Connect for Ericsson before installing the R3APackage1.

I just got a T68i and I can use the same version of XTND Connect PC as before. Mine is 4, something below 5.

I can check on friday, since the software is installed on my computer at work... and tomorrow is a holiday here!

There is some software on the Ericsson site for creating MMS messages on your PC:

MMS Composer

* Please be reminded that some Ericsson developer software will only work with T68 or T68i with developer firmware. - arnoldc

Unless you know someone working for Ericsson, you won't get a phone with developer firmware.

I have XP Home, Outlook 97 and t68(i).
