G900 or N82? |

Dude I wrote In my post that he should choose the N82 if he does need the said features. You should read my post thoroughly since I clearly stated that those are features that I don't need and I even gave the reasons to it.
And here is exactly what I said.
But if the said features of the N82 are needed more than the touchscreen of the G900 or the slimness of it then go for the N82.
I just shared with you guys why I choose the G900 over the N82 and I didn't even gave him the advice to buy the G900.
On a side note I know how many apps there are for s60 (I used the N95 for a while and I think it was quite good) but I simply like the G900 more than the N82.

Dude did you figure out a way to make the G900 pull up texts faster and not be so jerky? |

Don't really know at which point I'm being so jerky but anyway opening the texting is indeed slow and I don't know how to make it better. It's not really surprising since everyone knows that UIQ phones aren't the fastest around though the G900/G700 are said to be the fastest from all the UIQ devices.
If you really text a lot you should've gone for the N82 since it's texting is said to be fast (maybe someone can confirm?). |

Oh sorry misunderstood something. Don't think that there is such an application that could replace such a key feature of a phone. At least I never heard of something like that. |

g900 is beatiful. N82 silver is ugly.... (black N82 looks better)
g900 have touch screen.
g900 have better screen. N82 screen is dull
g900 is smaller. N82 is hugh
the only thing i see N82 is superior on, is better camera/video features...............thats my oppinion

g900 have touch screen.- one thing it has over the N82,but its perfectly usable by the dpad
g900 have better screen. N82 screen is dull - the screen isnt dull at all. have you actually seen one!?
g900 is smaller. N82 is hugh--- i assume you mean HUGE, which it isn't.
the only thing i see N82 is superior on, is better camera/video features.. - dont forget GPS,TV-OUT,EDGE,HSDPA,Quadband,3.5 jack..

woa, i just updated my phone to the newest firmware and it is working a lot better! Opening up a text takes about 2 seconds now as opposed to 5 seconds. This is with transitions on! Now I am really starting to enjoy this phone
Now if they can do anything about the dust getting into the screen!! |

Huh what?
Mine takes 4 seconds even with transitions off and with the newest firmware. You sure your opening the " create new message" and not just the messaging application? |
