My girlfriend drops her phone at least 2 to 3 times a day, she has a W810i for about 6 months and its showing the worse for wear.
Shes thinking of getting a new phone, she has the pick of the below.
K660i
K770i
V640i
K530i

Which one of the above would stand up to her punishment ?

from what you have enumerated, me thinks the K530i would be the toughest and the K770i would be the most sensitive

The K770i is not THAT sensitive, I can guarentee that much. My boyfriend keeps dropping his onto hard floor (clumsy git lol) and it survives without a scratch on it.

Or, just tell her to stop being so bloody clumsy, 2-3 times a day? Hang the bloody thing round her neck

She cant hang it around her neck at work, but i might say it to her when she not in work to get a lanyard.
The phone will probably get a few hits everyday anyway.

Wow 2-3 times. Sound more like you need to mould some sort of guard around the phone like they got for remote controls. No phone will last long when it's being dropped. I'm quite clumsy too and have the phone around my neck, which helps a lot. Get her a 15 quid SE and put self vulcanising rubber tape around the edges it will form one solid piece of rubber in a few days, that might do the trick

there's a moto that she could drop it anytime she wants

http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=171070

but if she drops it those times a day, she'd better get a low end phone. say k530.

Tranced! I think that as a woman, she'd at least want a good looking phone! That thing is ugly!

Yes but shes still a female. These things matter to girls even more than us guys, and I definitely wouldn't go near that Motorola. Horrible.

The K530i is a much better option, though not as up-to-date as the other phones on the list.

ok, but my point is: if she's gonna be dropping it X times a day, i think she should get a low/mid end one.

keep thinking about the mc75

Yeah Silicone case sounds good, will def mention that to her.
They should make cases from bouncy rubber so when you drop it, it bounces back up to you
