Strange, I have been using the phone now for about 24 hours, and my first impression is that I finally have a SE phone in my hands that again feels like top of the crop. And for me that was some time ago (bar the X1).
I was really loosing interest for SE phones since all they have done for the last 1.5 years is to release about the same phones but with difference design.
So Mobile Reviews writeup of the C905 was a bit of a surprise for me, since my belief is that SE actually have struck gold here... |

Dont worry, there will always be a few guys who thrive on criticism. If the consumer is happy, no site can dispel the word of mouth. |

I really do think, in terms of success, that this phone is the next k800 (or k750)

Smape called the design an epic win. and imo it's one of the main selling points of this phone. I remember that GSMArena liked its looks as well.

Some people underestimate how important good design is. This design seems to have a certain 'wow' factor which is a great selling point in itself.

Hi All! (first post.... )
I don't get it. I've got my new C905 next to me and have been using it quite a lot since I got it yesterday. Reading this review, it almost looks like Eldar is reviewing a completely different phone. Mine has a top-notch build quality and I think it's one of the better SE and Ericsson products so far (and I've had plenty of them to compare with). No strange sounds and scratching when pulling out the keyboard. I think Eldar is being quite unobjective in his review, which of course makes it difficult to take such a person seriously.
The only things I could complain about myself is a bit of "lack" of GPS functionality (compared to the N95 with on-memory maps and having to use AGPS) plus the lack of a secondary camera for face2face video calls. However, all other features and functionality largely makes up for this and IMHO makes it the best SE phone so far. |

Thanks!
Actually, I got quite upset when reading the review and dropped him an email about it and the miscredit unobejctive reviews gives to such a site. I doubt that he'd care though...

Chris? Surely you meant Kris (Kelvin), didn't you?
(I'm a big fan of SciFi movies. The remake with Clooney wasn't bad either.) |

Personally, I think it is like what Mizzle said some time back, that Eldar likes Sony Ericsson and that his reviews are a kind of tough love, to make them get their act together again.

someone who can comment this ??
first i thought it was because c905 have gps & wifi (this 2 features use quite much internal memory & cpu). but gps & wifi dosent effect a benchmark test, (because they are not running during the test..yes)
does c905 use the same cpu as c902 ???? (bad optimized firmware ??? better is coming ??)

yea, I totally agree. C905 should be either faster or the same speed as C902

well it isnt....its not the first time a "older" flasgship modell gets higher benchmark scores then the newest one........(k850, etc).
(anyone know which cpu c905 use ???? is it the same as c902)
c905 got just a bit higher on 3 of 9 benchmark tests... that quite low i think.
link to test
