ActiveSync (W960i) - Corporate Lock |

Hi All,
I have been experimenting with my new phone this week and finally got the Exchange settings for my work email to make ActiveSync work on my W960i.
Now this is a fantastic application, works well and is really easy to use but...
WHATS THE DEAL WITH THE CORPORATE LOCK!!!
Now i can understand that this is required by the IT policy and agree it is a good thing to have, but for the sake of being able to use any other feature on the phone normally whyyyyyyyyyyyy prompt for Code entry out of standby!!!!
So i cant disable the policy and to longest delay you can select is 30mins. Beyond that if the alarm calender goes, i get a text or just want to check my phone i have to type the dam code.
Why not just prompt for the code when you want to do anything ActiveSync related like read messages or go into the mailbox.
Has anyone come up with a workaround for this yet as I think im going to have to uninstall it (This is a shame coz its so great!)
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards

Thanks for the info - I did do a search on the site but unfortunately none of this info helps.
What about an application that unlocks/relocks the keypad every 29mins - this would solve the problem no? |
