Can someone advise a complete novice on the above, Does debranding a phone unlock if not what is the best way to unlock it and shouls I debrand it at the same time.
Orange reception is crap where I live |

Hi
Nop the debranding wont unlock the phone, it will just remove the orange logos and load Sony Ericsson defaults.
Regarding unlocking depends on how you need it done,online or not.

Thanks as I think I want to debrand as well perhaps you can advise which is best/cheapest etc.
