At the end of the installation of the XTND software (from original SE cd-rom), the message: Purchase! appears, and automatically an uninstall starts. During the installation I choose the option for the free version, but still this message.
Does anyone have a solution for this??
Also after a complete removal of the software, and then when I try it again, this problem occurs.

When installing you can choose between 2 different versions: 1 for Lotus notes (and over the internet) and 1 for outlook. You have to choose de second (Outlook) version.

You just have to install the Microsft outlokk not outlook express! You can find microsoft outlokk in the Micorsoft office. And then you should have it open when the you run the setup! And then when you reach thae part of the installlation you choose the second option. That should do it!Take care!

I have that problem too. Xtndconnect software is buggy. The 5 packages is don't work well with windows xp. Just get the latest package 1.5.1 and install over previous versions. Worked well for me.

Hi,

I had the same problem with the "purchase" popup during installation on a XP box. The solution for me was to remove the MS hotfix Q328310 before installation. After the installation of XTNDConnect you can apply that hotfix again.

I had exactly the same problem...

It came up with 'purchase'...but i found if you had the phone monitor installed seperatly anyway it would all still work as XTDConnect doesnt actually get uninstalled. Check your Start Menu..

To get Phone Monitor installed before hand download and install an SE package without XTDConnect included...

Try this thread for the links..

then install XTDConnect after..

rlawley recommends the same on his post to this thread:

http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=18664&forum=17#post323185

They had the same problem but with the word "Register" instead of "Purchase", and they recommend pack 4 first, and then pack 2 to whack back on the stuff that was removed etc.

Oh and Ziggy thanks for specifying that link, i saw the post earlier today and then lost it, spent all evening trying to find it! It's VERY handy!!!
