hey i just bought a k850i and the battery only lasts for 1 day!?!?!!
Could it be firmware problem? I have an R1CA029 firmware... Is there any newer??? |

yes the newest is R1DA038 but the battery should last longer than 1 day on 029....

Strange, mine with old 029 fw. last 3 or 4 days, with 038 fw. 2 - 3 days…it’ s not normal...

1 day doesn't seem normal, I get 4-5 days out of mine on 037. |

ive just had 5 days out of mine on 038, and that firmware is said to lower battery life anyway. |

I get a day and a half or so and that's with switching 3G off and leaving it on EDGE. Then again I do have ActiveSync push on all day long and I do use about an hour of talk time per day

But could it be a software problem?? Coz i unlocked it a few days ago... I dunno if there is any prob with the fw...

me too. . my battery lasts for a day T_T
or even 4-5hrs to be exact T_T
and btw im using my phone whole day long. (texting)
any suggestions on how to make the battery life longer? |

The posts in this thread are 2 years old..
Anyways which firmware you're using in your K850i? Latest is R1FA035.. Battery life depends on usage but if your battery is genuine and not swollen, then it should last for at least 2-3days with the current firmware and @ normal usage.

Hehh, i remember days when i own my K850.
if only calls(1-2hours per day), some messages - 1week life battery (FW R1FA035)
just can say - K850 has exellent battery life! imho

I still own my K850i, but now i'm using my new W995 
And yes battery life of K850i is good with genuine battery.
