I know a few of us here are talented with music and play instruments. I thought Id see how many people have a guitar and how many play it?
I now have 2 guitars, sold all the others off. Currently I have a new crafter electro acoustic, which is a very nice hard top. Looks and sound beautiful
I also have a epiphone les paul, which untill today I was thinking of selling. I spent about 30 min looking at it then making subtle changes to it, and fixing the jack, will be ordering some chrome parts for it in the next couple of days too.
Shamefully it's been quite a while since I sat and played guitar for a few hours (think ive been doing it for like 6 hours today) I was very impressed with my progress, My chord hand is speeding up and by the end of this evening my timing was above my normal standards.
I have been looking at songs to play and am working on a few, including under the bridge - RHCP, stairway to heaven - led zeplin and slide by the goo goo dolls.

Would love to hear you play Slide by Goo Goo Dolls. They are amazing and thats a brilliant song
Why dont you try Accoustic #3 by them? Really good
Unfortunately I am not talented at all with instruments. Although I can play Star Wars and Eastenders on the keyboard lol

Man, Ive got the new album, gota love it. Ive forgotten the name of the really cool acoustic song, its got a fast tempo and I think its played on a classical (smaller acoustic but with nylon strings instead of the usual metal)
I just started playing acoustic, and I was going to go to bed. You dont cappo it and it does sound sweet even without voice. I may record it on my mac then up load it if I have a hour spare tomorrow.

U should get some songs by Christian Kane. He is an amazing accoustic player. He doesnt have an album out though its just some individual songs. Defo get them if ya like accoustic. There called:

I have a Spanish Acoustic Granada..was gifted by my parents on my last birthday..i've been into singing a lot..unfortunately never got past the basics on guitar..or shall i say never practiced enough..still I keep looking from time to time for some interesting guitar tutorials on net (preferably vid). If Luke or anyone know a good site..please suggest..might as well give strumming another shot

Man il check those out.
@ deep - have a look on justinguitar.com, its a free site and teaches you the basics with both videos and tutorials. It's not really designed for classical, but the rules will apply for you. Also if you need to just find some tabs for classical songs, as mentioned the goo good dolls are a great start and acoustic is a easy song
