I wanted to start discussion about making music or playing instruments. Well I play synthesizers since my 6th year (is have been 11 years since I play that thing)  and I make my own music (mainly black metal) How about you?

Guitar and keyboards here but I don't write my own stuff. I occasionally get together with a guitar-playing friend and play small gigs in a couple of pubs, just well known rock n roll and easy listening stuff. We've been likened to the cabaret band in 'Phoenix Nights'

Well I'm trying to get similar voice to Dani Filth (from Cradle of FIlth), Alexi Laiho or Shagrath . It's quite hard and DRAINS your voice .

I'd love to learn guitar, i did buy one but think it was too big as i couldn't make some of the notes as my hand wouldn't reach round lol. But i can't read music either which makes it harder. I'm thinking of getting a cheap keyboard to play around with.

I think keyboard is harder than guitar to play. But keyboard are my special side . Anyway thanks for replying. I see there are manu members here who spedn their free time on playing instruments .

I've tried keyboard before and find it easier i just can't seem to make the notes on guitar, just think Joey from friends that's what i'm like lol.
