Hi

i see many ppl here complain about the flash in K850 is not in syncronization with the pic...

it was which i first thought when i used my K800's flash in the dark.

in fact the camera driver in all SE cybershots remove the outside light sources from the pic IN NORMAL MODE...resulting a dark pic having the xenon flash as the only light source.

so why not trying your flash pics with the (((Twillight Portrait mode))) to see the results.... the differences are vast between these two modes with flash, turned on.

i do not own a k850 and maybe the flash problem is really exists but the above was my 1year experience with K800 and K810.

so try your flash pics in (twillight portrait mode) and let others know the results..

thanks.

Well, we have made this conclusion earlier in this thread http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=157478

I think we mean the same thing with the "Night portrait mode" but maybe itīs called "twilight" in the english. I had the swedish version so i translated it to what i thought it was.

you can (with little luck fix it yourself)

do like this...press this code on your keypad:

> # << # < #

then go to "empty the flash"...(obs....block the light sensor before you empty the flash)

try that...it have work for some people.

ps.....if the pictures gets dark when you use the flash, it is a bugg.
otherwise, use iso.100 alltime when you use the flash...much much better

some flash pics...(iso.auto, iso.100)
