Unfortunately I can't test GPRS or 3G where I am, I'm not technical (Wireless Routers) but did manage to forward the ports.
Will a new firmware release resolve this issue?
Is a new firmware release expected anytime soon? |

Try m.vtap.com they stream the videos from youtube. It works pretty good on my 990i !

My P1 plays youtube video.. the mobile-version of youtube at least.
I have DMZ to my p1 when running wia WiFi.. Wep-cryptation and no DHCP. (Manual settings for IP, gateway and DNS)
It also did worked with 3g when switching off WiFi. Running Telenor Sweden...
I'm so happy... on my p990 i couldn't get it to work with WiFi.. only buffered from 0% to 100% right away and didn't play.
No settings changed in the router, just changed from my p990 to my P1..

My friend uses a N82 and I use the SE G900.
I had been googling quite a bit on how to play youtube, and after reading this thread I figured "eh, looks like we can't. too hard"
then he went and tried uhm, youporn.com on a whim. (we're young guys, give us a break ;_;) and it worked! we were able to stream the .flv files although for me I was only able to see a quarter of the actual video, as the player shrunk down and the video itself did not.
Not sure if this is relevant, but I've not had any luck at all thus far with youtube and this worked right off the bat. |

my p1 runs youtube quite ok especially when wifi is on....
except for sometime it says link unavailable other from that youtube it prettycool

But new coreplayer is good and youtube vids run fine on that

My P1 plays m.youtube.com perfectly.
CorePlayer will not play normal youtube due to changes made by YouTube.
