Remove the battery for 15 minutes. Refit it and then try again. If you get no joy then its off to a service center

The question is: what were you doing that you bricked the phone?

Indeed what happened to the phone to get it in this condition?
All it took for my K790 was to let the retarded monkeys at WotanServer perform a "critical CID upgrade" That's all she wrote. |

likely, i'll be needing to get it fixed by sony but not sure how to go about this. I e-mailed support but havent' gotten a response. And being in the u.s. I don't think there's a sony service center to take it to. |

Ah, dude, you totally trashed the phone's OS.
There's no other way than to use your warranty. |

It'll cost $100 for the repair or $30 if they can't fix it.

This is the SETool support forum. Just about the only hardware solution which might help you, but you'll have to ship your phone to get it repaired. I got mine fixed once by http://www.unlockcellular.com/

$100 for repair?
wow! that too expensive for K750i which priced at $150 now.
I think buy a new one is a better choice.

you're right. it may be a better deal to just buy a new one. I see k750i's on ebay for about $150.
well can you link me to a list of new current SE phones that may be better than k750i?? I'd like to see what's available now. |
