After looking at both, is there really any comparison? SE may, maybe, hopefulling, fingers crossed, hold your breath, produce a better camera in this phone, but then what? Can it hope on the Net with wifi? Nope. Can it point the way if lost? Nope. How about screens? Shall the embarrassment continue or do certain individuals finally get the point?

Class dismissed.

@k850 successor

I wasn't the one that started this comparison or tries to claim that the K950 is so much better. Lets face it in that case you can never compare a Nokia to a SE as Nokia make smartphones is this end of the market and give you everything not segmented like SE with Walkman or Cybershot but never the best of both and that really is the big difference in the two companies philosophy.

Buy an SE and get the best of one with the mediocre of the other buy the Nokia and get it all plus real customer support and wealth of great free apps both from Nokia themselves and developers. Now you tell me which seems like a better deal then? and yes it is a loaded question but as the saying goes the truth hurts.

Marc

both companies will do what they think is best for their customers, regardless of what company is actually better than the other. You have the choice to be either a customer of SE or nokia. So why not leave it at that? N95 is a great phone, but no doubt the K850 will be too. It just depends what you like in a phone. Theres no need for a debate to decide which phone is better, what will that do? You already know what phone you want for your needs and which one is best for YOU not OTHERS so take it and enjoy it!

Wouldn't this thread finish faster if you idiots people could agree on instead of comparing the whole phones, just compare a specific feature like the camera?

From that point of view I would say that both phones suck equally!!!

@AbuBasim,

Wouldn't this thread be better if people would get over the fact that cameras on phone are a waste of time and anyone that has a drop of photographic understand would know that camera phones will NEVER compete with dedicated digital cameras? Don't you think?

eehhh. maybe, but if you want a phone who have horrible chassis design, unstable software, the worst batterylife (in the history probably), go for the N95....:=)

I wouldnt go to that extreme over the N95 - battery is the only main problem with it.

cam quality on mobiles at present isnt too bad - by no means a photographers dream, but good for basic snaps when you forgot your digicam.

And once again, it is down to your choice. If you like N95 good for you, if you dont and prefer the K850, great. The phone is ment to suit you and only you. Whats the point of debating your preference of a phone to someone that doesnt share your preference? What a waste of time!

Is being dysfunctional a part of your make up? You DNA, just the way you are? If you haven't heard, unlike SE Nokia delivers updates for its phones, and the most recent fixed 99% of all problems. SE could never come that close. Still to this day, the M600i, P-series phones are pure crap, and SE had to be forced to come out with other upgrades.

So before you start to speak your normal unfounded crap, take a look around. Every post you make shows how really inept you are.

Prove the software is unstable. The only thing here unstable is you and your unproven comments. The W850i is a mystery phone until it hits the market. Then it will be dissected and be seen for the upgraded k800i that it really is.

I believe 99.9% people know that the quality of digital camera is better than any phone's camera. But that is not the point. Phone with camera can do things that no digital cameras can, that is the ability to send pictures through mms or email to anywhere in the world at anytime. For that purpose, vga resolution is usually enough for me. Also, people do not bring their digicam with them everytime. I think most people would rather take memorable shots, say at 50% quality of real digital camera, than nothing at all.

Btw, I still don't get it why some people love to defend some electronic products as if they are defending their religion/country/mother's honor. In a year or two they will be obsolete anyway, there is no need to say nasty things to other human being because of them.
