N95 has it all, Wi-fi, GPS, 3,5mm jack, 16M color screen, 5MP, VGA recording video 30 fps.

To a huge dissapointment, K850, still using the old menu system, 262K color--although the screen looks totally different from the previous SE including W910 and W960, just make it to 5MP, QVGA 30 fps video, oh yea, great package of complete networks, sigh.. i was hoping at least 16M color, then i will consider this phone really, i will wait for next year's flagship.

@sesukaku

This device isn't here yet so is hard to compare to anything but compare it to the N82 when it is realeased around the same time as that will be interesting as both have Xenon flashes and will be the latest devices just have to wait for them both to be released first of course.

These "Which is better?" threads should be killed off before the fanboys get a sniff of them.

I'd go out on a limb and say the N95 to be the better device. Even if the K850 takes better pictures, it's not that the N95 pictures would be that bad. It could be the same N73 vs K800 scenario, where N73 pictures had better details and sharpness whereas K800 had better color representation. And lets not even talk about Video Recording ...

...pointless no, but entertaining how people can argue about two different phones and especially as it depends on the needs..

if i want an all in one device, then the N95 is the way to go - and to pay as well. The price for a new N95 is absurd. I doubt the K850 will cost more than half of the N95 when it comes out. but for that price you get less. If you don't care about all the features a N95 has, and you want a small, reliable and good camera in a phone than you chose the K850. Which one will be better...we'll see, and pictures are always a bit a personal choice on what appeals more...

ok, so lets compare features. What does K850 not have that N95 does have?

GPS comes to mind immediately, of course, but I find I really can't be bothered waiting minutes to get a lock. Might come in handy one day for an emergency, perhaps

anything else missing on K850?

No doubt the cam will be better on the k850, but the lack of wifi, gps, a decent web browser will defintiely make me keep my n95

ok...i knew this would happen, as it always does. so i don't bother because the N95 has more just the bigger and fantastic screen is worth the whole front of the K850. and i suppose everybody would buy the N95 over the K850 if they had the same price...reasons? go ahead...there are loads of pages to be filled with posts...

me personally i will buy the K850 because it's the type of phone i like and want. but nevertheless the N95 just offers more. i just bought a digital camera and i wouldn't care about 5mpx on K850 or N95..so that's not the reason i would buy the phone...

I guess you mean GPS
I too wish these latest K series got wifi as its been a part of the windows mobile smatrphones of this size for a long time now, and I'm almost always near a hotspot. But with t-mobile unlimited web'n'walk its not so much of a concern.

we don't know what browser improvements may come in this generation of SE but I must admit I have been impressed with the N95 browser.

HGE-100 is compatible with K800 and later devices according to this page. It takes its power from the phone. Included with it is a 3 month trial subscription of Wayfinder.

Here it is by the way

I use the web browser and wifi all the time at work, have used it on my phone for the past couple of years now, i couldnt go back to not to having it. shame because the k850 does look quite nice
