I am confused. I have owned two P900s and this is the first time I have run into this problem. I can not charge the phone. I bought a new battery and it still won't charge. I plugged it into the cradle as well as directly to the phone and it still won't charge. I am at a loss and I would love it if someone could let me know if there is something that can be done.

Regards,

AndyRay

Try cleaning the contacts on the phone, it could be that these have become a bit dirty. Try using a toothbrush to clean the contacts, and perhas something alcohol-based, see if that makes any difference.

I did that and it does not seem to be a contact problem. It is really strange. You plug in the phone and it does not even recognize that it is connected to the electricity. It appears to be a flaw in the phone, but I would expect that more people would know about it. Is there anyone out there with a similar experience?

Has the phone suffered any kind of water damage that you know of?

Take the phone apart if you feel confident and have a look and see if you can see any corrosion around the charger port area if you're unsure of it's history

If not, it could be a case of buying a spare battery and desktop charger and charging it that way.
