problem with the joy stick for K700i |

hi,
i am using k700i for more than an year, now my joystick is not working properly. that is in some cases it is not navigating properly, i think its time to change the joystick. can any one guide me how to do that, if possible with a picture plz help me ................... |

guess u have no warranty anymore, so visit an se service and let it clean as first step. if it deosnt help, let it check there, might be it has to replaced

Try removing the housing and cleaning the gunk off the joystick and from under it.
To take it apart
first remove the battery cover.
On either side of the phone there are several sets of hooks.
you can use an old top up card or credit card etc or a very small flat head screwdriver to unhoock the hooks and push them through. Start with the bottom ones and move to the top.
Avoid pushing the front housing or they will hook back on and you will have to start over.
Turn phone over and there should be a gap around the side of the phone push an old top up card or credit card in the gap and take it around the housing so it comes off.
Clean the joystick and then put it back together again make sure the keypad lines up and your done.
This should improve it alot  |
