Hi, I'm having problems connecting my K800 to my Powerbook.

The phone allows me to select file transfer mode and the Phone disc appears on the desktop BUT I don't get a disc mount for the memory card.

It worked very briefly when I first had the phone and I managed to transfer some MP3's, but not worked since.

I've tried resetting the phone, with and without the card, and also a permissions repair.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

What version of Mac OS X are you using? Is there anything on the memory card currently? Have you tried reformatting it? in the meantime, you can send files to the phone using Bluetooth File Exchange.

BTW, there's a dedicated Mac & Sony Ericsson thread here:

Apple Macintosh and Sony Ericsson issues

It's where all the Mac people hang out!

Hi

Thanks for the reply.

I'm using 10.3.9 and the card was fine.

I sort of gave up and bought a new card reader but it seems like I have a problem with Applescript.

Thanks for the tip about the forum. Will head over and have a look.

Thanks
