What email options are available for the P990 for connection to corporate email systems behind firewalls - preferably push email?

I went through this with my P910, and there are numerous threads on discussions around blackberry connect and other software.

I successfuly used Smartner Duality on the P910 after giving up waiting for Vodafone to release Blackberry connect software. They now appear to do there own Business email service based on Visto, but as far as I can see it is POP/IMAP only.

Emoze doesnt support P990 yet.
Smartner were aquired by Seven and seem to have disappeared since.
Surewave?
Good.com ?
JP Mobile ?
Visto?
Intellisync?

Is there any software that links into exchange like Windows Mobile does?

Help. I need email and dont want to go back to my P910!

Thats great information. Unfortunately I 'm with vodafone and therefore no way of upgrading the firmware yet. I tried installing anyway, and just couldnt get it working.

However, I found the Exchange ActiveSync application from Dataviz within the try&buy and got this working in 5 minutes.

I can finally put my P910 to rest. RIP

Did you pay for the RoadSync (ActiveSync) .SIS file? If you did, there really was no need to as it is available for free on Sony's support website:

I am not sure if this is the right place to post but I have a UK T-Mobile "Web'n'walk" tariff - unlimited data for a fixed fee - and have set my email account to check for messages every 15 minutes. This gives me the push email functionality without having to set up as a blackberry. I hope this is helpful to someone.

I'm having problems with setting up the ActiveSync on my P990i.

I'm on Vodafone (in the UK) and keep getting an error message saying my username/password and/or domain name is wrong. (error: 0x7370D02)

I've triple checked with my IT dept who say all the details are correct but the handset is not sending the info through to the exchange server so its rejecting the connection beacuse it can't identify me.

Has anyone had a similar problem or know how i can fix it?

I initially had this problem in the US on TMO (unbranded). A couple of things I tried:

-remove and reinstall the application
-during setup, make sure the SSL box is checked
-during setup, the user name, password, and domain name fields are case sensitive to make sure they match up with your exchange server settings

If none that works, the other thought I have is your exchange server uses a security certificate to authenticate a connection and your phone may not have the certificate as it is custom to your company's exchange server.

Good luck
