I have had my w810i since is was released on o2 and its been my most reliable phone yet! Its not gone wrong once, the keypad and d-pad are still working perfectly and I have managed to keep the phone and screen scratch free and as new.
Have had no issues with bluetooth/battery etc... just a shame the charger was not made as well as mine has broke and not charging anymore! having to use the USB cable to the computer!
Anyway.... congrats to SE for making a solid all round phone. Everyone else had just as much success or am i a lucky one?

Had it 3 times, the last was the most comforteable, cos the joypad didnt had that crap noise sound i noticed in the 2 first ones. I liked the screen and the keypad.

No problems at all with my W810i. Touchwood!
Didn't have any problems as such with my old W800i, though it was an ex-K750i. One problem it did have was with that phone not recognising when the handsfree kit was disconnected meaning the phone needed restarting so the ear speaker and mic would work again.
Very happy with mine, the only gripe I have is the lack of a lens cover for the camera, it keeps getting fingermarks and grime on it, and has already got a couple of very fine scratches on the coating (either from my pocket, though I'm careful what I put in with it or from my cleaning!), though it doesn't affect picture quality.

My girlfriends W810 has been great. Its got a few marks/scratches on it as she puts it in with her keys and other stuff while at work (even though I bought her an ICE-25 to keep it in) but have had no problems at all.
I tried sniffing coke once but didnt like it. The bubbles kept going up my nose |

I am very happy about my W810 too, and i tend to be kind of picky with my phones (but i guess most people hanging out here might be).
It is definitely the best phone i have had since my R520.
I still use my T39 as a backup though, since my R520 died and i got the T39 as a replacement.
Now i just wish they could make the P990 a bit smaller, especially thinner, or i will not have a reason to buy a new phone for a long time. |

The first one was crap. The second has been flawless in the roughly 3 weeks that I've had it.

5 months on and still flawless (well originally it had that light
flashing after 30 seconds - good old wotanserver )
Other than that - a 750i back mod and total reliability - eat your
heart out pebl !!!!!

im looking at mine right now:
- some minor scratches on the screen
- under direct light, i can see a thin purple layer looking like it's been rubbed off
- signs of wear and tear in the rubber memory stick cover
- silver paint on the d-pad wearing off
that's just about it. other than that, very solid phone. stable firmware. the only phone that's lasted me more than 3 months.

My friends laugh at me because of the way I worship this phone. Before I got it I would look it up every day on the internet and salivate. Then I would jump on here to read everyones posts about it and drool some more. Finally one day my T610 took an unexpected bath and I was just beside myself. Couldn't afford a new phone and so my ex just couldn't stand to see me all pitiful and bought me the W810.
I'm blown away that they packed so many more features into basically the same form factor as the T610.
The only problems I have is the general frustration with Disc 2 Phone like everyone else and I am also experiencing an annoying bug in the calendar with it rearranging or deleting appointments randomly.
Oh, and I absolutely detest the asymetrical design of the included headset. |
