Is there any way to make SMS message alert louder in Sony Ericsson 68i ? I have searched in forum but could not find what is the latest result ? Is it possible or still we are waiting for some kind of fix ?

I would like to have an other melody for incoming messages. With the T65 you can change it.
Work on this issue pleasssse

Welcome to Esato sanjay92. As this is your first post here you probably didn't know what to do before writing new messages to the forum.
Your question is already answered several times before. A search for "message alert" would reveal that. It is also answered in the Esato FAQ

When starting new threads, you should describe the problem in the subject field. Your original subject "T68i" didn't tell me anything about your problem, and if I was browsing the forum via WAP, I would not have read it.

I have read somewhere in forum that there will be some patch/firmware to solve SMS alert message problem. Is it still true or there is no plan for this from Sony Ericsson.

Due to this drawback, I am thinking to buy some other phone. I must need this feature because I am on pager call and want my pager alerts should go to phone. Any idea, which cell phone I choose. I am only looking for GSM compataible phone,

Old sms alert is on T200 and T300 and it was in T68m that when turn into T68i did not, so it can be done reverse way I think, or am I wrong?Why not, we wanted back so many users....

no only siemens, other brands support it too, so this is a tiny flaw with se, but look on the bright side, it offers so much more functionality in return...
