I think pictures are very much about the photographer rather than the camera image quality.
I also recall Photographer Robert Clark who went around america with the S700 for  and took some breath taking photo's....here is the thread: Sony Ericsson Image America

Could be wrong, but if not, all the more impressive:
GX20 is only VGA.....
GX30 was the 1st megapixel Sharp.....

K from here we see that, it doesnt matter how many MP needed.. For me 2MP is enough.. if only they have a gd quality rendering processing image.. tats all..
