Hiya - i wasnt sure which board was the best to post my question on and im desperate for some advice so please have a look at this post for me....

yeah - they sent me a new phone on a new contract - nice new k800i came today then when i phoned to register my card n phone they said "sorry but your application for a contract has been declined" you must send the phone back

what can i do - will they block the phone???
can i get it unblocked and use it as it was THEIR mistake not mine??

they will almost certain to block your phone,unblocking is illegal and can not be done btw do you have a bad credit rating?

well ive had an o2 contract for 3 years with no problems - but i probably do have a bad credit rating - when i spoke to orange and signed up for my contract though he said my application had gone through no problem
i dont understand????
so i have a brand new - but useless k800i that i cant do anything with now do i?????

there must be something i can do???

although you had your o2 for 3 years your credit rating may have happen during that time and orange only just found out so they refuse you anyway your phone is lock to orange and will be blocked so another sim card will not work on it

did you sign with orange direct? or carphonewarehouse? my bro went to CPW to sign up with "3" but the guy said that he has a bad credit rate so he couldnt get on 3. But funny enough when bro went to 3 store direct he got a contract and with a new phone from 3, how wierd huh? try different places it might work.
