I've just got the K800i on o2, awesome phone, but I have a strange problem. I am unable to send sms when I'm in 3g coverage. It tries to send then comes up "message sending failed, retry?" In 2g coverage all works fine. Is o2 having some problems at the moment, or have i got a duff sim, (phone is fine with other sims)? Any help or comments much appreciated.

The problem could be if your numbers start with 44 (or whatever). You MUST make sure if its a 44 number then its +44 or just replace it with 0. This happens if you sync your phone contacts and sync them back (it removes the +).

It's not just new numbers. existing number transferred to 3g sims also having it. it's most noticeable where the phone constantly handshakes in a bad signal area for 3g
