My k790i just die 2 hours ago.

The white screen appears and nothing i can do to turn on.

I expect the technic support solve this soon.

I got my k800 10 days ago and what i just saw here scared me to death!
I got R1ED001 version of sofrver,and I was wonderig if the problem is solved?

hi there - just got my k800i this afternoon ....... i too want to know if the sudden death issue have been resolved. my k800i is the james bond edition with firmware r1ed001

Same thing happened to my k790a after changing SIMs, now I upgraded the EROM using Wotan and it works perfectly.

BEWARE, I called SE USA and they told me they would need to take it in for repair and it takes 16 to 21 business days to get it back on top of that I told her I bought it off Amazon, she said warranties are not transferable, so make sure you buy it from an authorized seller, really really sh**ty warranty service here in the US.

you must register first ( registration is free )
click seach then type "cruiser" pls find cruiser new user by jasondaz

problem will solve whether it is not detected by cruiser... thanks

HELP!!!! i have an k800i from SE and i wouldn't start.when i press de power button it flashes a red light a coupple of time at the infrared port . can you help me solve this. thanx

Hmmm..... Im not scared if my k800i dies. Its something i got used to in my 3g Motorola phones (V3xx,V6 maxx). They died like the k800 as described in this thread. Motorola's statement was that those phones has very weak capacitors and is prone to overcharging. This is due to short-period USB connections. Thats what they say.
