whya re people bitching about the slightist of things? its a 1st reasle so of course there will be bugs my w800i had a few i ran update all ok but how long has it been out? a week maybe 3? its going to take a while to gte this state of the art phone running full power like it did with the K750 and the good old T68i so please people give it time 
if you dont like it then wait a good few months then get one i got my w800i on the 06/06/2006 when the w810 was out but meh so very happy with the w800i i just cant install things on FAR but that will take time, running latist FW and im glad i got it now,
people all i can say is if you know that the phone is going to suffer on 1st release don't get it until the 2nd edit is out or wait keep an eye on the fourms and read through them i did a hell alot of research before getting my w800i im so glad i did because i updated the FW and now it runs like a dream boat alot like the good old T68i i had and my nokia 3310 |

Must have been a duff one.... I've got an Orange K800i and so does my wife... both with a dip in the joystick. I love this phone and have so far had no problems at all (touch wood).

Hi everyone, Can anyone tell me if there is a lock you can put on the k800i SMS inbox? |

Anyone had a problem like this -
When phone is in standby and key lock on, when I receive a text message it pops up in the home screen but there is no option to view/expand. Have to scroll up or down first then return to it to get the options appear.
Also cannot get key sounds ( click, beep etc) to work |

Hi Really happy with K800 so far all works well
what i can't work out is how to delete emails
its all very well being able to mark an email for deletion but I can't seem to find out how to actually delete one!

I get this with some of the bookmarks I've imported from my k750 - notably the Real-time bus listings for the Lund city buses. But if I re-enter the URL, it works fine.
I dont have FSB wap set up (and I'm at work so I can't set it up right now), but browsing the external pages at www.fsb.se/mobil seems to be working fine, do you even get that far? |

I actually made a phone call to my bank's internet support, and a few days later, they called me and told me that they had fixed the problem. Now, it works. That's a kind of support other companies should learn from! |

bloody bluetooth, ive got a bluetooth usb dongle on pc, sometimes it connects, others it doesnt. Its really annoying. anyone else having these problems?

I don't think Send & Receive clears one marked for deletion. Don't you have to go to "More" and then "Clear Inbox" which does a send and receive and also purges marked for deletion? |

Nope, on mine using O2 mail. All I have to do is mark them for deletion then sned & receive and they go. |

I tried to find a "clear inbox" anywhere, no luck
have tried in flight mode too, still no luck
seems the only way to delete an email is to
10 "mark for deletion"
20 "send and receive"
30 despair at receiving more junkmail you want to delete
40 GOTO 10 |

I've got the same problem mate.. Really annoying. Never had that problem with any other phone. I hope there will be a fix in the first firmware update. |
